The North West Department of Tourism will be showcasing its top destinations at the Cape Town International Jazz Festival (CTIJF), taking place between 21 – 25 March 2018. As part of their activation at the CTIJF, the North West Tourism Department will be giving away more prizes at their stand. Prizes that will be given away at the activation include a family trip to Sun City and two other resorts within the province to be announced at the activation.

The initiative to promote the province is headed by North West MEC for tourism Desbo Mohono and forms part of the National Department of Tourism’s long-term campaign, #WeDoTourism, which seeks to market South Africa as a top international destination to the world while encouraging South Africans to travel locally.

The CIJF presents the perfect opportunity for the North West Tourism department to promote the beautiful, yet underrated province to Cape Townians, other South African locals and the international community – who will be attending the biggest musical event on the South African calendar.  Those attending the CTIJF are encouraged to look out for and visit the North West Tourism stand at the V&A Waterfront inside Levi’s court, to learn about the province and stand a chance of winning one of the fantastic prizes to explore the province.
