Overberg literally means 'over the mountain' and refers to the region's geographic location relative to the first settlements of Cape Town. The region offers beautiful beaches, impressive mountain ranges and rich biodiversity with abundant bird life and indigenous fynbos. Explore valleys with vineyards and orchards, landscapes of green, gold and brown. Visit Cape Agulhas, the southern-most point of the African continent as well as the official dividing point between the chilly Atlantic and the warm Indian Ocean.
