I was sitting patiently watching hundreds of Zebras drink at the Okaukuejo water hole in Etosha National Park. Slowly the Zebras would wade in deeper into the water is search of clean water as more thirsty zebras piled in behind one and another. All of the zebras were alert and skittish, so when a black backed jackal popped out of the long grass beside the water hole the zebras took flight. I had pre focused my lens for this specific moment. Two frames later they were gone.
