Less than five kilometres west of Kokstad in KwaZulu-Natal, you’ll find this tranquil guesthouse. Six luxurious Water Rooms have covered wooden balconies jutting out over a small, picturesque dam that forms the focal point of the guesthouse.
The excellent Cassandra’s restaurant and coffee shop serves breakfast daily, lunch and dinner on weekdays and only lunch on Saturday. For weekend meals, guests will need to make the short drive into Kokstad.
Mount Currie Nature Reserve is less than 10 kilometres up the road and boasts more than 220 recorded species of birds, fishing and boating on Crystal Dam as well as hiking trails through the lush forest and up Mount Currie.
Young kids especially will enjoy the playground and fishing in the dam.
