The magical Tepee experience

Escape to a simpler existence and replenish your soul with a one-of-a-kind retreat in the exquisite hand-crafted Teepees – FIRE, WATER, AIR & EARTH.

Unwind and embrace tranquillity within the gentle glow of candlelight, with a crackling fire at the foot of your bed. Whether you stay for a few days or an entire month, the accommodations will reconnect you with the enchantment that envelops us.

Each Teepee features a private bathroom and grants access to the communal kitchen in the main house.

Perched upon raised wooden decks, the Teepees boast an original Mexican Chimenea, creating an ambience of warmth and wonder. Snuggle into the king-size bed, relax on plush couches or armchairs and be enchanted by the fairy lights and candles that bestow additional magic after sundown.

Conveniently located just a short stroll away, each Teepee has its own private bathroom facility complete with a shower, toilet, and basin.

For those inspired to cook a hearty meal, the fully equipped Elements Kitchen awaits, a mere walk from the Teepees. The kitchen is the sole facility on the property with electricity. Alternatively, indulge in the elements and enjoy a braai at any of our fantastic firepits, stocked with wood for your convenience, while embracing the mountain’s enchanting atmosphere.

Each Teepee is equipped with a handheld solar-powered battery, which guests are responsible for charging during the day (by placing it in the sun). This battery powers the fairy lights in the Teepee and bathroom and also serves as a handy torch to guide your nocturnal wanderings around the property.

The farm it sits on spans 1.8 hectares of breathtaking mountain land, nestled among lush green trees and blooming bushes. Expect daily visits from captivating creatures such as the Cape Parrot, Knysna Lourie, Samango Monkeys, Chameleons, and even wandering cows, occasionally joining you for a peaceful respite on the lawn.

The Magical Teepee Experience boasts convenient proximity to Hogsback’s main attractions, situated within 2km of the Town Centre, grocery store, various restaurants, and markets. It serves as the perfect starting point for your hiking adventures.

You are welcome to utilize the fully equipped kitchen in the main house on the property, which includes a fridge, freezer, stove, oven, kettle, microwave, crockery, cutlery, pots, pans, and everything you need to prepare a delicious meal. Ample wood is available free of charge for the fireplace or braai. A communal outdoor table space is also provided, allowing for convivial communal meals, should you desire.

Additional Information: Inside each Teepee, you will find a solar-powered battery block to charge cellphones and power the fairy lights. It is recommended to bring a headlamp for easy navigation to your private bathroom after sunset. Wood is provided at no extra cost – there are no refill charges.

Rates: A minimum stay of 2 days is required on weekends and public holidays. From Sunday to Thursday, you can experience the Teepees for a single night as well.

Out of season – R700 per night per Teepee In season – R1000 per night per Teepee.
