Day 1: Tuli Block
We depart Johannesburg and head north, crossing the border into Botswana. Our accommodation tonight is situated in the area known as the Tuli Block, which is a narrow piece of land between Botswana and Zimbabwe. Upon arrival at our overnight stop, we will enjoy an game drive through the reserve, which is home to many species of animals including giraffe, hippo, hyena, zebra and gemsbok.
Day 2: Maun
Today we rise early and depart for Maun where we will spend the night. Maun is the gateway to the Okavango Delta and this afternoon we will prepare for the Okavango Delta Excursion. Your guides will provide you with a briefing about the next days’ activities.
Day 3/4: The Okavango Delta
After breakfast we board our plane, flying over the winding channels of the Delta. A game drive to camp sees us arrive at our home for the next two nights. Upon arrival we settle in and prepare for our afternoon sunset game drive. Tonight we spend the evening around the campfire accompanied by the many sounds of the bush. Water lily beds and palm islands make for the most scenic experience as we head off on the crystal clear waters of the Okavango. We stop at an island for a nature walk where we have the possibility of seeing wildlife. After breakfast, we return to camp to relax before heading out onto the water again for a sunset cruise.
Day 5: Caprivi Region
Today we bid farewell to the Delta and head north. After being re-united with out truck, we enter Namibia. Our overnight is located on the banks of the Okavango River in the Caprivi Strip of north-eastern Namibia.
Day 6/7: Kasane
We will rise early to enjoy a game drive through the park, in search of vast herd of elephants and a multitude of antelope including the rare sable. After our game drive, we will pack our bags and head to Victoria Falls.
Day 8: Victoria Falls
Although your tour officially ends after breakfast, most people will spend the day White Water Rafting, a not-to-be-missed experience of a lifetime! Vic Falls offers many exciting activities so we recommend you add a post-tour night here.
