Zebra fight captured in Rietvlei Nature Reserve Posted by Anita Froneman on 25 November 2020 A visitor to the Rietvlei Nature Reserve in Gauteng came across a sighting of two zebras fighting. The lush green grass and the ominous grey-blue sky formed the perfect backdrop for an epic battle. ‘Lucky enough to watch two zebras fight on Sunday evening. Was an amazing experience,’ said Leon James. Take a look at the feisty fight: Further north, Michelle Slater from African Roots Photography witnessed a less strenuous situation when she came across a playful giraffe calf in the Kruger National Park. ‘We came across this little fellow on our game drive, full of energy and then he decided to put on a bit of a show just for us. It was a new born (still has umbilical cord). We did not see it’s birth, but arrived when he had just walked onto the road,’ Slater said. Look at the youngster strutting his moves.
