Tropical white sands, bright blue waters and some incredible surfing experiences all form part of Australian beach bliss.

When in Australia, there are thousands of beaches to explore and enjoy. Here are just three of the best:

Cable Beach

Located in Broome, the iconic Cable Beach is known and loved for its 22km stretch of soft and sparkly white sand, as well as its calm blue waters.  It is also the place to be if you would like to catch breathtaking showstopper sunsets. For early risers, an early morning hike offers the most spectacular views of Broome.

Squeaky Beach

The picturesque Squeaky Beach is one of the region’s most photographed beaches. Surrounded by mountains, it is 700m of crashing waves and soft sand enclosed by granite rock.

Living up to its name, the beach’s interesting feature is the squeaky sand. Yes, the sand is so fine that it really does squeak! You can take a relaxed stroll along the beach as you enjoy beautiful weather and stunning scenery.

Whitehaven Beach

Whitehaven is located in the spectacular Whitsunday Islands and is one of Australia’s most popular beaches. It boasts vibrant turquoise waters and shimmering white silica sand. The Australian Spring is one of the best times to visit the beach. You can enjoy sailing excursions and spot the area’s fascinating marine life.
