Completed in the 14th century, the Leaning Tower of Pisa has withstood numerous earthquakes. The building is popular for its tilt, which is said to not be by design, but rather due to its unstable ground and inadequate foundations works.

Although the tilt may make it seem like the building may soon fall over, the tower has been declared stable for the next estimated 200 years. So, you can rest assured that your visit will be a safe one.
