Buffalo rescued from snare in Djuma Game Reserve

Posted on 13 September 2021 By David Henning

A buffalo was rescued after getting caught in a snare in Djuma Game Reserve, which will no longer host any guests from 2022 thanks to the success of their Wildearth safari live streaming. This allows them to sustain their conservation efforts with a reduced impact on the environment.

The Wildearth team was at work on Sunday 12 September 2021 after the buffalo was found with a snare around the neck, having to dart it twice to safely remove the snare.
