Eco-Logical Calculator tells you how environmentally friendly your lifestyle is

Living an environmentally friendly lifestyle is easier said than done. Many might think it involves simply not using single-use plastic products or separating your trash into recyclable and non-recyclable goods, but it encompasses more than just these two elements.

Eco-Logical Calculator tells you how environmentally friendly your lifestyle is

To help you figure out exactly how environmentally friendly your lifestyle is, Eco-Logical Living has created two different Eco-Logical Calculators, one of which helps you determine how ecological your mindset really is, while the other, a more in-depth calculator helps you determine how ecological your lifestyle is.

Once you’ve selected which test you would like to take, you will be presented with a series of multiple-choice questions that include, ‘When problem solving, do you consider your own point of view to be all that you need to consider?’, and  ‘Do you think it is worthwhile to pull in other opinions in order to gain different perspectives on an issue.’

Once you have completed the questionnaire, you will be given an Eco-logical score out of 100%. The lower your score, the more you need to work on your environmental lifestyle and mindset.

The scores are based on the seven ‘V.I.R.T.U.E.S’ of Eco-Logic, which provide a frame of reference from which you can begin to heal people and planet.

Each calculator asks a number of questions that vary depending on what questionnaire you decide to answer. The questionnaire relating to how ecological your thinking is takes around 5 minutes to complete. The questionnaire relating to how ecological your lifestyle is takes around 15 minutes to complete.

Eco-Logical Living also provides individuals with practical advice and tips on how they can live, work, and play in a more Eco-Logical manner.

‘To successfully address today’s environmental challenges, we first need to identify and correct the thinking patterns and value systems that drive the behaviours that produce the unhappy outcomes (the environmental crisis) we are currently experiencing,’ explained David Parry-Davies, editor of The Enviropaedia on Eco-Logical Living’s website.
