Two sea videos to calm your Tuesday

Posted on 9 July 2013

So you survived Monday. Because Mondays go by in a flash and no one has time to pay too much attention to anyone else. You’re also convinced that your boss is about to notice that you are, in fact, as amazing as the super hero you picture yourself to be.

Now it’s Tuesday. You start out well, feeling positive as you drive to work. But as the day starts dragging on (as Tuesdays do) you realise that there aren’t actually enough hours in your day to please all the people in your inbox, especially now that everyone is back into the swing of the week and ready to hand out work. Your boss is still expecting more from you than what is humanly possible and you’re scared that you might never reach super hero status. Your lunch break feels light years away and your brain is either about to explode or attempt an emergency shutdown – neither of which will improve your current, flustered state of being.

It’s time you watch these videos then. First, pretend you’re a manta ray, floating along above a bed of coral reef. It’ll only take 54 seconds out of your life. Then, click play on the second video, watch the calm little fish for a few seconds and leave it to play in the background. It’s 10 minutes long and shows the same reef, but the music (and the idea that the sea is only a few tabs away) should be enough to get you through Tuesday. It’s all downhill from here. Sort of.
