Australia will reopen its borders to vaccination tourists on 21 February after nearly two years of being shut to the world.
‘If you’re double vaccinated, we look forward to welcoming you back,’ Prime Minister Scott Morrison said, reports the BBC.
Unvaccinated who want to enter the country may apply for a travel exemption if they have a medical reason for not being vaccinated, and will need to quarantine at a hotel if accepted.
Earlier this year, Qantas returned to South African skies after a nearly two-year-long absence. The first commercial passenger flight from Sydney landed at OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg on January 4.
