This October, Virgin Voyages is launching a true crime-themed cruise designed for fans of chilling tales and binge-worthy podcasts. Departing from Miami on 10 October, the five-night itinerary aboard the Valiant Lady will feature stops in Puerto Plata (Dominican Republic) and Virgin’s Beach Club on Bimini (Bahamas)—but the real thrill is what happens on board.

The voyage includes live recordings, meet-and-greets, and behind-the-scenes sessions with popular podcasters from “Stuff They Don’t Want You to Know,” “Betrayal,” and “Buried Bones.” Budding audio sleuths can even learn how to craft their own true crime stories in podcasting workshops.

And since it falls during spooky season, the sailing will also include Virgin’s signature Halloween festivities—think themed shows, a costume contest, and ghoulish surprises at sea.

Virgin Voyages has leaned into themed cruising in recent years, previously hosting events for Halloween, Valentine’s Day, Christmas, and New Year’s. They’ve also featured live music takeovers, including one by Nicky Jam, who’s set to return in December with a Latin-Caribbean-inspired sailing titled Olas de Fuego.
