Set over ten days, the popular coastal fest brings together world-class surfing with live music, sport, and lifestyle.
At the centre of it all is the Corona Cero JBay Open, a World Surf League Championship Tour event held at the legendary Supertubes.
Visitors can plonk on the sand and expect to see some of the world’s best surfers in action, with the competition window running from 07:00 to 17:00 every day, depending on the daily surf call from the WSL.
Entry is free, with big screens, live commentary, and food trucks set up at Supertubes Park. For a more laid-back vibe, head to Casa Corona, where you can catch the surf without setting foot on the sand.
There’s plenty happening away from the waves too. This year’s line-up stretches across town, with live DJs, food and drink experiences, family-friendly activities, and even sunset beach sessions.
Sports fans can catch live screenings of the Springboks’ matches against Italy and Georgia, while active types can sign up for MTB and trail runs, a Funduro, touch rugby, or beach volleyball.
Over at Mentors Plaza, martial arts fans can look forward to the Jiu Jitsu Takedown. And for the rising stars of the surf world, there’s a groms’ contest at Kitchen Windows, sure to be extra special with local legends like Matt McGillivray and Jordy Smith competing nearby.
The much-loved Oakley X Over is also back, bringing sporting greats like John Smit, Butch James, and Dale Steyn to the beach. The event blends surfing at Lower Point with a round of golf at St Francis Links, creating a unique crossover challenge.
Music lovers are in for a treat too. Names like Zakes Bantwini, Dino Moran, Dean Fuel, and Niskerone are all on the line-up, with the Park Off Music Fest taking over the beachfront for nights filled with dancing, beats, and winter magic.
