It’s almost time to raise a glass to all things sparkling; Franschhoek Cap Classique & Champagne festival is back!

Franschhoek’s Cap Classique & Champagne

Perfectly timed with the start of December and summer celebrations, Franschhoek Valley welcomes the return of the Franschhoek Cap Classique & Champagne festival.

The abundant valley is renowned for producing outstanding Cap Classiques from an impressive array of over twenty local producers ranging from large, traditional estates to more boutique, up-and-coming producers.

Bubbly lovers will be delighted to hear that after a two-year absence, this much-loved festival and firm favourite on year-end calendars across the country is back, once again presented by Sanlam Private Wealth.

Set to take place over two full, bubbly-fuelled days at the historic Franschhoek Monument, a focal landmark for the area, all are invited to earmark the first weekend of December.

Festival-goers will be able to enjoy Cap Classiques from local estates such as Graham Beck, Anthonij Rupert, Villiera, Morena and many more as well as champagnes from select French producers, such as Taittinger among other firm favourites.

Live music will keep the feet tapping and add to the garden-party atmosphere. Fashionistas are invited to don their best blue and white ensembles – with a chance to claim both bragging rights and generous prizes. Local stalls and restaurants will proudly showcase a selection of gourmet gold and artisanal goodness

Tickets are priced from R400 and can be purchased via Webtickets.
