From late March 2026, according to travelnews.africa, the airline will add an extra weekly flight on its Johannesburg to Ndola route, giving travellers more flexibility when flying between South Africa and Zambia’s Copperbelt.

The Johannesburg to Ndola service connects two important economic centres: South Africa’s largest city and Zambia’s industrial hub. With the added frequency, the route will operate three times a week, making it easier for both business and leisure travellers to plan trips and secure convenient connections for onward travel.

The increase forms part of Airlink’s wider growth strategy, which focuses on strengthening regional connectivity across Southern Africa. As travel demand continues to recover across the continent, Ndola’s Simon M. Kapwepwe International Airport is expected to benefit from the improved schedule.

Most importantly, the added service means more choice and greater convenience, whether visiting Zambia for work or exploring the Copperbelt region.
