There is a good chance of snow for this upcoming weekend in much of the high-lying regions of South Africa, with reports of snow having already fallen in the Harrismith region of the Free State.
From Saturday, 20 August through to Sunday, Snow News predicts snow in the South Eastern parts of Northern Cape, central and northern parts of the Eastern Cape, and the southern Drakensberg across the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands as far as Newcastle.
Areas in Lesotho and locations such as Afriski and Tiffendell Ski Resort could receive more than 10cm of snowfall this weekend.
