Knysna Oyster Festival: A whale of a time for everyone

The highly anticipated 40th Knysna Oyster Festival is just a few days away, and attendees can look forward to an incredible 10-day event from 30 June to 9 July. The festival guarantees fun and festivities for the entire family as they celebrate four decades of this iconic event and this year’s packed programme promises “a whale of a time” with a diverse range of activities. Besides the headline sporting events, there will be a number of exciting lifestyle celebrations and kiddies’ experiences. These are some of the highlights to diarise:

30 JUNE – 9 JULY 

Live music 

Head over to Blend Country Restaurant for a number of live music performances including Goodluck Live on 6 July. Look out for the Bubbly & Oyster parties with live music at The Turbine Boutique Hotel. 

30 JUNE, 1, 5 – 8 JULY  

The Art of Spice & Tea Dinner

Knysna Estuary Scuba Clean-Up

Miss Pearl Pageant & Fashion Show

 Miss Spectacular

Young Oysters Crafting Festival
Crafting classes for kids and teens at The Node, Oaks on Main. The classes are divided into different age groups: mommy & me class in the mornings (ages 5-7), kids class during mid-day (ages 8-12), and teens class in the afternoon (ages 13-17). Tea Tasting 101

Unblocked Art Exhibition – Monochrome

Guided Tour of Knysna Heads Rock Pools

Knysna Wine Festival:
Indulge in a delightful evening at the Knysna Wine Festival at Premier Resort, The Moorings. Sample over 200 wines from more than 50 different wine estates.
