Lioness chases leopard in Kruger National Park Posted by Imogen Searra on 4 January 2021 Latest Sightings shared an epic video of a lioness charging a leopard on the road in the Kruger National Park. The video was shared by Kayla du Toit and took place on a guided drive with her sister, Tamsyn du Toit, a field guide from Foxy Crocodile Bush Retreat. The leopard was spotted after Tamsyn noticed a spotted leopard scent marking. At first the animal is walking along the road with perfect visibility, pausing occasionally and peering into the nearby bushes. The video then skips to the leopard standing still on the road, checking its surroundings. The guests then spot the lioness approaching the leopard from a nearby clearing. The lioness pauses then picks up her pace in pursuit of the leopard. Watch to see how the encounter unfolded below.
