New Snake Season series kicks off

Anyone living in KwaZulu-Natal that has found a snake in their home or garden may have called on Nick Evans for help.

Evans works to conserve amphibians and reptiles through educational and awareness programmes, talks and demonstrations for schools, farm workers, lodge staff and of course his fearless snake removals.

‘Along with the Lawrence Anthony Earth Organization, our aim is to try and educate people about amphibians and reptiles, so that they can understand them instead of fear them,’ Evans writes on his Facebook page.

This action packed show will take viewers on some of the most thrilling snake removals Evans has done, along with valuable information around different species and appropriate behaviour when finding a snake.

Now, Evans’ new show, Snake Season will premier on our screens Monday, September 7.

After a lot of anticipation, I’m excited to say the time has finally arrived!

‘We’ve all put a lot of hard work into making this happen,’ Evans writes. ‘We’ve tried to make it entertaining, but above all, as educational as possible. I really hope it can help people overcome their fear and better understand these misunderstood creatures! I really hope you enjoy it! Thank you for your support leading up to this, it is greatly appreciated!’
