According to travelnews.africa, the service will operate from 10 September 2026 through 15 April 2027, offering travellers a smooth, one-stop connection between Europe and South Africa’s iconic coastal city. The seasonal service has expanded steadily since its launch, with the airline adjusting frequencies and extending operational dates in response to rising demand on this transcontinental corridor. The strategy reflects Norse’s broader aim to meet growing travel appetite while delivering affordable, direct long-haul routes.

Flights will be operated aboard Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft, known for fuel efficiency and passenger comfort on long routes. At roughly 11½ hours in the air, the nonstop flight gives travellers more time to enjoy Cape Town’s beaches, vineyard trails, cultural hotspots and outdoor adventures without layovers.

Expect the schedule to start with lighter frequencies in early and shoulder-season weeks, with additional services added through the peak Southern Hemisphere summer. This flexible model aims to balance availability with market demand, accommodating both early planners and last-minute bookers.
