A new international eye-tracking study conducted by JustCover has identified the world’s most beautiful mountain ranges, showcasing South Africa’s own Table Mountain as a remarkable 14th on the list.

This research, which harnesses cutting-edge eye-tracking technology, reveals more than just a ranking; it highlights the stunning vistas that capture our attention and linger in our memories.
The Canadian Rockies top the charts with an impressive score of 99.3 out of 100, making them the most captivating mountain range globally.
Their breathtaking scenery and unparalleled beauty mesmerise onlookers, setting a high standard for natural landscapes worldwide. Following closely are El Capitan in the United States and Torres del Paine in Chile, securing the second and third positions with scores of 84.9 and 83.2, respectively.
Analyzing a total of 56 mountain ranges around the globe, researchers measured how quickly and how long participants gazed at each landscape.
The results illuminate the captivating power of these majestic formations, with Table Mountain securing a commendable score of 62.6, positioned among the most beloved mountains admired by locals and tourists alike.
The study’s findings highlight an impressive variety of landscapes that beckon adventure seekers.

Notably, the United States holds a significant presence in the rankings, with nearly half of the top 10 landscapes claiming their origins within its borders.
