South African Airways (SAA) has officially reopened its upgraded domestic departures lounge at Cape Town International Airport, marking the latest milestone in its revamped lounge concept, The Lounge.

This latest transformation follows successful renovations at Johannesburg’s OR Tambo International and Chief Dawid Stuurman International Airport in Gqeberha, highlighting SAA’s commitment to enhancing the travel experience, as reported by Travel News.
The redesigned lounge boasts increased capacity and a variety of amenities, from thoughtfully curated dining areas and full-service bars to collaborative workspaces and private focus booths—perfect for both relaxation and productivity before a flight.

Conveniently located near the boarding gates, the Cape Town lounge is open to eligible SAA customers, as well as Discovery Bank clients and Investec Private Banking cardholders, depending on tier and booking class.
Operating hours are Monday to Friday from 04:30 to 21:00 and Saturday to Sunday from 05:30 to 21:00.
