Ngorongoro Crater, Tanzania

Located in Northern Tanzania, the Ngorongoro Crater is nearly 3 million years old.

Once a volcano, it now boasts unbelievable beauty while also offering the best chances of seeing Africa’s wildlife. Thousands of animals call the area home, including the Big Five. An added plus are the crater’s unbelievably spectacular views, especially during sunrise.

Pangong Tso is a saltwater lake located in the Himalayas, and extending from India to China. The popular lake has breathtaking beauty and a charming calm.

Most interestingly, it changes colour at different times of the day. The shades range from light green to crystal blue and sometimes even golden and pink. Undoubtedly, this lake is deserving of a spot on the bucket list of every nature enthusiast. Moreover, lovebirds often include the attraction as part of their honeymoon itinerary as it offers enchanting bliss.

Verdon Gorge, France

In South-Eastern France, the water of the Verdon River flows through one of Europe’s most gorgeous gorges for more than 20 kilometers.

The attraction boasts stunning turquoise waters and views that will leave you speechless. Verdon Gorge is also very popular amongst tourists, who have the option to drive around its rim or rent kayaks to travel on the river. Its limestone walls also tend to attract rock climbers.

Victoria Falls, Zambia and Zimbabwe

If waterfalls are your type of utopia, Victoria Falls is a must-visit! The attraction presents the spectacular sight of the awe-inspiring Zambezi River.

Straddling Zambia to the east and Zimbabwe to the west, Victoria Falls is easily accessible from either country. Apart from the gorgeous views, you can also take a swim in the famous Devil’s Pool which is right at the edge of the waterfall. This does, however, depend on water levels at any given time.
