Elephant gets stuck in pool in Lower Zambezi National Park

Posted on 19 October 2021 By David Henning

Visitors to Lower Zambezi National Park, Zambia, discovered that the pool outside their camp was occupied after an ellie went in for a dip. It must have been a rather strange shift for the manager on duty at Old Mondoro Camp in the park, as the elephant got stuck for a moment.

Fortunately, the elephant managed to clumsily manoeuvre its way out. Watch the video below.

The Lower Zambezi National Park covers an area of 4092 square kilometers, and is popular for its largely underdeveloped, untouched wilderness and Big Five sightings.
