Birds of Eden

Birds of Eden is currently home to over 3500 birds. It is the world’s first free roaming multi-specie primate and bird sanctuary.

Visits to Birds of Eden are normally self-guided. However, guided walks are offered upon request. At  the sanctuary, beautiful birds of different kinds fly free and provide visitors with an incredible experience. Thus, if you seek a taste of bird paradise, Birds of Eden is definitely worth considering.

Cairnbrogie Farm

Cairnbrogie is more than just a farm. It is the ultimate destination for outdoor lovers.  There are hiking trails, mountain bike trails, as well as dog walking trails. You can also enjoy some horse riding, fishing and bird watching. To relax and refresh after all the fun, there is a café which sells delicious treats and coffee.

Robberg Nature Reserve

The Robberg Nature Reserve is one of the Western Cape’s most popular coastal reserves. It boasts astounding views, crystal clear rock pools and clean beaches. Fancy a hike? The reserve is the perfect place to enjoy a lovely one. There are three hiking trails to choose from, with the shortest one taking approximately 30 minutes and the longest one taking almost four hours.

Market On Main

Market On Main (now Off Main) offers unique, locally-made items, a great vibe and amazing food. Some of the market’s electric food options include African cuisine, fish and chips, sushi, pizza and pasta.

There are also different stalls which provide a large selection of items including books, jewellery, hats, as well as arts and crafts.
