Fully vaccinated travellers from these two countries will no longer be expected to quarantine upon their arrival. However, those who are not vaccinated will have to quarantine for 10 days instead of 14 and can be ended after five days if the PCR test result is negative.

Dr André Schulz, Lufthansa general manager in Southern Africa and East Africa, said this news would have a significant impact on the airline’s day-to-day business. ‘It is welcomed by us all with great excitement and elation. Based on these new regulations, the airlines of the Lufthansa Group will continuously re-evaluate and adjust our capacity to meet the demand according to our customers’ needs,’ reported Travel News.
