Mauritian nationals, residents and holders of work/occupational permits will be given priority for travel to Mauritius. Passengers will be able to book their airline tickets and hotel rooms online.

The next phase will be the complete reopening of borders, which will be considered based on the evolution of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The island destination has navigated the pandemic relatively well and was declared coronavirus-free in May.

The country has a total of 356 cases, with 335 recoveries and 10 deaths.
