A video shared on social media captures the aircraft passing close enough for travellers to admire the mountain’s snow-capped summit rising dramatically above a blanket of clouds. The stunning flypast offered a rare perspective of the iconic peak, which stands at 5,895 metres on the Tanzania-Kenya border.
