How well do you know your South African facts? Tourism South Africa has developed a fun new general knowledge quiz to find out who knows their ‘biltong from their boerewors.’

Themed around South Africa’s most iconic and best-loved landscapes, the glorious food, wildlife, safari and more, there are 25 multiple choice questions you can complete online.
The quiz was launched in conjunction with Britain’s new six-part series, South Africa with Gregg Wallace. Wallace, a British media personality will tour the country, exploring and revealing all it has to offer to promote South Africa as a tourist destination to the UK.
Questions include ‘How long is South Africa’s coastline?’ and ‘How many shark species swim in South Africa’s waters?’. It also features questions that make you think a little longer, like ‘What is Rorke’s Drift?’ and ‘Which animals are known as the Little Five?’ There’s only one way to find out who are the real Saffas around here.
‘Get comfy, pour yourself a mug of Rooibos tea (or a glass of Pinotage!) and put your South African knowledge to the test,’ the website reads.
