1. Atlantic Outlook

Located by the V&A Waterfront, Atlantic Outlook offers guided kayaking tours, where you can marvel at the beauty of Table Mountain from the coastline of the Atlantic Sea Board. With pristine waters and a picturesque view to die for, this is one for the bucket list.
Atlantic Outlook offers a two-hour kayak tour, going along the coastline, past the Green Point lighthouse before returning to base. On this trip, if you are lucky, you may spot dolphins, seals, penguins or even whales!

2. Aquatrails

Aquatrails – based in Fish Hoek – offers numerous outdoor adventure tours, some of which extends longer than a day and can include group bookings.
However, they do offer day tours as well, such as their Simon’s Town day tour. Starting at Simon’s Town Waterfront, the tour sets off into the sea, paddling past the Naval Harbour and stopping at Boulder’s Beach, famously known for its colony of African penguins lounging on the rocks.

3. Paddle Experience

Though Paddle Experience is located in Sandvlei, they operate kayak tours all across the Cape coastline, such as their Zandvlei Estuary Nature Reserve kayak tour in Muizenberg. This tour is suited for both beginners and experienced paddlers.
Starting from the estuary area, the tour follows a route of man-made channels of the marina, and continues along those channels where you can spot an abunance of birdlife, including coots and herons.
The tour lasts two hours, and they provide all equipment necessary.

4. Kayak Cape Town

Located in Simon’s Town, naturally they have a kayak tour to go see the African penguin colony by Boulder’s Beach. But, they also have a full moon kayak tour. Provided the weather conditions permit, individuals paddle out to see to witness the full moon rising over the bay from behind the mountains.

5. Kaskazi Kayaks and Adventures

Operating from Three Anchor Bay, Kaskazi Kayaks and Adventures offer various kayak tours around the coastline. Boasting uninterrupted and unforgivable views of Signal Hill, Lion’s Head, Table Mountain and the 12 Apostles, the journey spans over three to five kilometres, stopping either at Granger Bay or Bantry Bay.
In addition to kayak tours, they also offer numerous paragliding packages.
