Time lapse of the Earth from space

Every now and again you have to get on the roof to appreciate your home. Seeing it from this perspective is just incredible.

This time lapse sequences of photographs was taken with a special low-light 4K-camera by the crew of expedition 28 & 29 onboard the NASA International Space Station from August to October, 2011.

It shows weather systems, city lights and lightning storms. Below is a list of locations in order of their appearance. See if you can recognise them.
