Would you need a Logitech bluetooth keyboard?

Posted on 16 August 2013

The short answer is yes – here’s why you’ll be happy to have a bluetooth keyboard for your tablet.

I’m the proud new owner of an iPad mini and I am immensely glad to have invested in a tablet that’s so perfect for travel (this list of reasons is for another blog entry). However, my one pet hate is touchscreen devices and typing on one can get very frustrating when you’re on the go.

I was recently offered a Logitech Folio Keyboard – essentially a bluetooth keyboard that can be used with your tablet and I was extremely pleased to give it a go. This dinky little device is both a tablet cover and keyboard so your tablet transforms into a tiny laptop – ideal if you need to tap out emails while travel, for taking notes or simply keeping in touch via social networks.

Reasons for using a bluetooth keyboard

  • The keyboard is easy to use and familiar to type on
  • It acts as both a folio case to protect your tablet and a handy keyboard
  • It’s easy to use a keyboard with your tablet than lug around your laptop when travelling
  • Closes uses a magnetic latch that saves tablet battery life
  • It’s rechargeable via USB
  • You can use the bluetooth keyboard with any compatible bluetooth device
  • The folio case is still slim and doesn’t compromise the portability of a tablet
  • The battery life is incredibly good – i used it for two weeks and didn’t have to charge it once
