The United States Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) afforded a total of 22 nations a Level 4 status on its highest-risk travel category for Covid-19 last Tuesday, January 18.
A destination is classified as Level 4 when it has more than 500 cases per 100,000 residents that are registered in the last 28 days. This list currently holds more than 100 places, according to CNN Travel.
Various popular destinations are on the Level 4 list, of which the latest 22 have at least one from every continent except Antarctica.
Argentina, Australia, Bahamas, Bermuda, South Africa, and many more are classed as Level 4. The CDC strongly advises travellers against visiting these countries. In a broader sense, the CDC discourages all international travel until you are fully vaccinated.
