Airlink, Southern Africa’s premier regional carrier, has refined its Johannesburg–Nairobi schedule to offer greater convenience and effortless onward connections from March 2026.
From late March, Airlink will introduce a new early-morning departure from Nairobi, designed to get passengers into Johannesburg bright and early, perfect for making the most of the business day or connecting to domestic, regional, and long-haul flights from O.R. Tambo International Airport.
The north-bound service has also been thoughtfully timed. The daily flight from Johannesburg will leave just after lunchtime, ideal for travellers arriving on mid-morning domestic or regional flights and continuing straight on to Kenya’s capital.
“With our expanded fleet we’re able to adjust our Nairobi schedule to better serve the needs of business and leisure customers who prioritise convenience and a great choice of connections at both ends,” says Airlink CEO de Villiers Engelbrecht. “Nairobi is a key gateway to Kenya and the wider East African market. Through our Johannesburg hub, customers can also easily link to our network across Southern Africa as well as long-haul services operated by our global partners.”
