FlySafair has been dubbed as the most on-time airline in the Middle East and Africa in Cirium’s On-Time Performance Review 2021.

FlySafair launches new route between Cape Town and Bloemfontein

Cirium is an independent company that delivers aviation data and analytics solutions to several industry sectors. After briefly halting reporting due to low flight volumes resulting from several international travel restrictions, Cirum resumed reporting in June 2021.

Their on-time performance analysis is based on data from over 600 sources of live information, according to their website. For an airline to be considered on time, their flights must arrive at the airport gate no later than 15 minutes of the scheduled arrival time.

FlySafair conducted 14 343 flights during 2021, of which 96.4% arrived on time. In addition, FlySafair also placed fourth on the list of most on-time and low-cost airlines worldwide, according to IOL.
