Comair’s business rescue gives customers 14 days to reclaim lost tickets

Posted on 17 November 2021 By Taylah Strauss

Comair has made provisions for customers who booked flights either via their channels, or with kulula.com or British Airways during South Africa’s lockdown in response to the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic. These provisions also apply for the period when Comair was under business rescue.

BA operated by Comair returns to Harare, Zimbabwe

Flights booked via kulula.com or British airways that were set to depart between the 14th of March and 30th of November 2020 will be able to utilise the unused ticket value for travel before the 30th of November 2021. For flights booked outside of South Africa, the value of the unused ticket will be valid for reuse until 30 April 2022

Those who booked flights with kulula.com or British Airways via a third party between the 14th of March and the 30th of November 2020 are to direct all queries to their travel agent or British Airways.

International and Packaged bookings refunds are currently underway, and customers will receive further communication regarding this issue from Comair and their business rescue team. For more information, visit their site here.
