South Africa’s Tintswalo Collection has earned international acclaim once again, with four of its properties recognised in Tripadvisor’s 2026 Travellers’ Choice Awards.

Leading the way is Tintswalo Atlantic, the boutique hotel tucked beneath Chapman’s Peak on Cape Town’s Atlantic coastline, which received Tripadvisor’s coveted Best of the Best distinction. The accolade places the property among the top 1% of accommodation listings worldwide, based on traveller reviews and ratings.
Three additional properties in the collection — Tintswalo Safari, Tintswalo Waterberg and Tintswalo Boulders — were named Travellers’ Choice Award winners, placing them among the top 10% of hospitality listings globally.

Presented annually by Tripadvisor, the awards are determined entirely by guest feedback submitted over a 12-month period. The rankings reflect the experiences of travellers and are widely regarded as one of the travel industry’s most trusted measures of guest satisfaction.
The latest recognition highlights the appeal of Tintswalo’s diverse portfolio, which spans beachfront retreats, wildlife lodges and exclusive bush escapes across South Africa.

The awards add to a growing list of accolades for Tintswalo Atlantic, a five-star boutique hotel set on a secluded pebbled beach at the foot of Table Mountain National Park. Known for its dramatic ocean views, proximity to Hout Bay and intimate atmosphere, the property has become one of Cape Town’s most sought-after luxury stays.
The broader Tintswalo Collection includes seven family-owned properties in destinations ranging from the Cape Peninsula and Greater Kruger region to Limpopo’s Welgevonden Game Reserve, offering travellers experiences that stretch from the beach to the bush.
