The Namibian carrier previously known as FlyWestair has now been renamed FlyNamibia as of 2 November. The airline first entered the airspace officially back in March 2019.
The airline says it sees the rebranding as a move to authentically reflect the airline’s values: ‘Boldly changing the name to better reflect its role as trusted Namibian carrier‚ the airline has been operating as FlyNamibia since November 2021.’

According to their website, the FlyNamibia started out as an aircraft maintenance facility more than half a century ago.
