KuvaAir is the new airline coming to Zimbabwe Posted by Ilhaam Hoosain on 2 June 2022 Zimbabwe’s new airline, KuvaAir has launched 1 June and will service Harare, Kariba, Hwange, and Victoria Falls. The Herald reports that these flights will be available on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. KuvaAir Managing Director Stewart Dunlop says: ‘The hassle of getting in and out of Kariba was the inspiration behind setting up the airline. Yes, the risk is there but I believe that Zimbabwe’s best-kept secret, Kariba, has the demand and we hope everything works out.’ President of Zimbabwe Emmerson Mnangagwa said that the country has to focus on the rehabilitation of the local airports, and added that government is busy renovating all domestic airports. Three airlines are currently operating domestic and regional flights: Air Zimbabwe, Fast Jet and now KuvaAir.
