A man was arrested in America after he climbed onto the wing of an Alaska Airlines Boeing 737NG in Las Vegas on Saturday, December 12.

The man, who was not a passenger on the flight, can be seen climbing onto the wing of the plane before taking off his shoes and socks. He then clings to the tip of the wing for a few minutes, after which he slides off and falls to the ground. He was apprehended by security officers shortly after.

‘Our guests and employees are safe and we are working with law enforcement. The plane returned to the gate for a full inspection,’ Alaska Airlines said in the statement.

The man was treated for minor injuries and charged with trespassing and disregard for public safety, police told ABC News.

The reason for the man’s behaviour has not yet been confirmed.
