Reclined seat destroys passenger’s laptop Posted on 2 March 2020 A passenger on a Delta Airlines flight had his MacBook laptop screen destroyed after the person in front of him reclined their seat. The passenger took to social media to express his dismay. @Delta small note for the suggestion box, maybe have a little warning sign or someway to prevent my laptop from being destroyed when the person in front of me reclines their seat. pic.twitter.com/QHmphXiDhH — Pat Cassidy (@HardFactorPat) February 26, 2020 After the flight, he wrote to the airline and was informed that the damaged caused by the other passenger is ‘not reimbursable.’ The airline then gifted him 7,500 air miles, which is the equivalent of $75 (R1,164). Update: @Delta is giving me the equivalent of a $75 gift card and an explanation that you would give a six year old.
