Reclined seat destroys passenger’s laptop

Posted on 2 March 2020

A passenger on a Delta Airlines flight had his MacBook laptop screen destroyed after the person in front of him reclined their seat. The passenger took to social media to express his dismay.

After the flight, he wrote to the airline and was informed that the damaged caused by the other passenger is ‘not reimbursable.’ The airline then gifted him 7,500 air miles, which is the equivalent of $75 (R1,164).

So the debate of airplane etiquette continues, to recline or not to recline?

The unspoken rules of flight etiquette
