SA Express has made reaching Joburg from the Eastern Cape and vice versa much more accessible. The airline announced that a new route between Mthatha and Johannesburg will launch in time for the December holidays.

The daily flight will begin on 10 December 2019 and SA Express hopes to increase the number of flights in 2020 if there is a high enough demand. Earlier this year the route was suspended for a few months following ‘severe non-compliance.’
