Posted on 27 July 2020 By Anita Froneman

Kruger National Park is home to South Africa’s majestic big cats and Latest Sightings has compiled a video with some of the best sightings from recent visitors.

The video features an epic lion fight. A pride is resting and feeding, when an outsider shows up, sparking a fight among the males.

Another highlight is a lioness on the chase, showcasing exceptional speed and agility. Two cheetah are also on the hunt for a zebra foal, but the herd protects the young one.

Another male lion shows off his one-of-a-kind nighttime roar, and a cheetah inspects a Kruger signpost.

Take a look at these spectacular sightings:

There are an estimated 1,600 lions in the Park, 1,000 leopards and about 412 cheetah. Winter time is perfect for safari in the Kruger, as the bushes are less dense. It’s also the dry season for that area of the country, leading to animals visiting large water sources more frequently.
