The wilderness retreat, which launches in July and runs until September 30th (the best months for exploring the Kruger National Park), is located near the famed Satara rest camp in the central region of the reserve.

The wilderness camp promises an “extraordinary safari” that immerses guests in an experience with the majestic Lion population of the Kruger National Park.

The camp itself, enriched by the vibrant culture of the AmaShangaan people, evokes a rich and authentic essence of the region. The base features 30 luxury canvas suites with en-suite camp-style bathrooms. All suites are fully serviced.

Guests will have a range of immersive wildlife opportunities to choose from, from daily safari adventures, as well as walking and tracking safaris.

From birdwatchers to big-cat-seekers on a transformative journey through the Kruger’s wildest spots, the retreat, according to the Kruger Untamed Satara Plains Camp team, is the perfect match for adventurers, wellness enthusiasts, trackers and nature lovers.
