The exclusive use lodge has completed a full upgrade that brings refreshed interiors, renewed flooring and a brand new roof. Set within the pristine Manyeleti Game Reserve, the Manor welcomes groups or families of up to ten guests across five spacious en suite bedrooms.
Elegant interiors with classic safari charm
The updated design blends soft elegance with the timeless safari character that Tintswalo is known for. This is a private retreat created for people who want space to relax, reconnect and explore. Shared lounge and dining areas lead onto wide shaded verandas where guests can unwind with views of the surrounding bush. A relaxed open air bar and lounge overlooks a lively waterhole, offering wildlife sightings at any hour. The swimming pool sits within lush green lawns that provide a peaceful place to cool off on warm days.
A reserve known for exceptional wildlife
Manyeleti Game Reserve covers twenty seven thousand hectares of wild and untouched terrain. It shares unfenced borders with the Kruger National Park as well as the Timbavati and Sabi Sand reserves. Tintswalo Safari, including Tintswalo Manor, is one of only four commercial lodges operating here which creates a rare sense of solitude. The reserve is celebrated for its rich biodiversity and exceptional wildlife sightings. Guests may encounter the Big Five along with abundant birdlife, antelope and many smaller and elusive predators. This thriving ecosystem offers prime opportunities for photographers and nature lovers.
Personalised service at a private lodge
A stay at Tintswalo Manor includes the full attention of a dedicated hospitality team. Guests have the services of a private chef, a butler, housekeeping staff and their own game ranger who guides twice daily drives in a private safari vehicle. Each drive is shaped around the interests of the group and often delivers unforgettable scenes such as lions on the move or elephants gathered at nearby waterholes.
A family friendly safari sanctuary
The Manor is enclosed by game fencing for safety while still keeping guests close to the wild surroundings. Families will appreciate the Kids Programme which keeps young explorers entertained and learning through ranger led tracking sessions, scavenger hunts, baking moments and beading activities.
Dining under the stars
Meals are served on the terrace or at magical bush locations. Breakfasts cooked over open flames and boma dinners under the stars offer an authentic sense of place. Guests seeking extra adventure can spend a night in the sleep out treehouse which is set beneath a Weeping Boer Bean tree. This romantic hideaway features modern comforts and access to amenities within the secure Manor grounds.
Easy access and all inclusive comfort
Tintswalo Manor can be reached with ease from Hoedspruit Airport or by road from Johannesburg in about six hours. The rate includes all meals, selected beverages, daily laundry and safari activities. With its private pool, personalised service, prime waterhole views and twice daily game drives, the newly upgraded Tintswalo Manor is ready to welcome guests seeking a private and unforgettable safari retreat.
