Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo, UAE

The famous Dubai Mall is home to one of the largest and most fascinating aquariums on the globe. At Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo, you can see 33 000 sea creatures including sea horses, colourful fish and sand tiger sharks. Due to the aquarium’s convenient location, you can immerse yourself in this fascinating experience while enjoying a break from your shopping spree.

Aquarium of Genoa, Italy

The Aquarium of Genoa welcomes over a million visitors annually and is home to 12 000 sea creatures. It includes 70 tanks and the original exhibition concept was to showcase what the Caribbean,  North Atlantic and the Ligurian Sea have to offer.  Upon your visit, you can expect to enjoy the underwater life while viewing creatures such as seals, jellyfish, dolphins, sea cows and sharks.

The Deep Aquarium, United Kingdom

Known as the world’s only ‘submarium’, The Deep Aquarium boasts a collection of over 35 000 fish and a variety of other marine species.

It also functions as a research center and offers visitors an educational and empowering experience. If you happen to visit on a Tuesday afternoon, you can enjoy ‘Tranquil Tuesdays’ – an environment intentionally created for those who seek to enjoy a fascinating but quieter and more peaceful experience.

Shanghai Ocean Aquarium, China

The Shanghai Ocean Aquarium is home to the longest submarine viewing tunnel in the world. It offers an underwater experience that is nothing short of fascinating and magical.

The aquarium is divided into different parts, including the unique China Zone that exhibits some of China’s endangered species. In other parts of the aquarium, one can also find native species from the five oceans of the world.

uShaka Marine World, South Africa

uShaka Marine is Africa’s largest aquarium. It is also among the largest ones in the world. The aquarium offers more than just the opportunity to view some of the sea’s most weird, fascinating and wonderful creatures. There are also a number of activities and entertainment opportunities to enjoy. uShaka Marine’s  facilities include a dive center, seal stadiums and an exciting water park.
