Leopard vs python: a showdown in the Kruger

The Kruger National Park’s leopards have been busy getting into scuffles with various other animals lately. Recently, we saw two different incidents of these big cats taking on porcupines. This time, a leopard had a bone to pick with a python.

This showdown was caught on film from the S1 near Skukuza by the Campbell-Harris family and shared by Latest Sightings.

Pythons can grow extremely large, with some reaching up to 5 metres and 50kg. However, leopards are bold creatures and are known to take on snakes from time to time.
