Lion climbs tree to steal leopard kill Posted by Imogen Searra on 18 December 2020 Leopards are master climbers. Their powerful jaws and strength allow them to haul their prey from ground to treetop to ward off other predators looking to steal their catch. Interestingly, lions are not the stealthiest of climbers because of their bulky size. This doesn’t stop them from trying though. Recently in the Kruger National Park, Latest Sightings shared a video of a leopard enjoying a meal in a tree completely unaware of a number of lions down below. A lioness tries to steal the leopard’s meal but the leopard gets out of reach just in time. The lioness tries to climb further but her skills fail her and she retreats back to the ground. Watch the epic encounter below.
